Cannabis tourism is the fastest growing industry and continues to grow as states and countries legalize the use of marijuana. Some countries have been cannabis connoisseurs for years, like the Dutch. Credit card points and miles travel have become a popular niche in the family and personal travel market, and no longer reserved for business travel. Many families would only be able to travel locally without the free flights and hotel stays made possible with points & miles. Larger families (like mine) are able to offset the cost of 2 hotel rooms traveling in Europe or Asia. Want to try points & miles?
River cruise ships are smaller and less complex than ocean cruise ships, as they are designed to navigate narrow waterways and low bridges. This allows visitors to cruise to European port on the Rhine, Danube, Seine and Moselle Rivers. River cruise line are more than just the 55+ Viking Cruises you see on commercials. Cruise lines like Ama Waterways, Avalon, Emerald and Scenic Luxury Cruises are all great options to consider, especially to see Spring Flowers or seasonal Christmas Markets.
Destination weddings and elopements are more popular than ever and for good reason. They often fit the bride and groom’s personalities or celebrate their favorite locations. They can be less expensive too, focusing funds on a small group of friends and family or even just yourselves in a wedding & honeymoon combination… especially in a romantic European location. Consider opening a few travel credit cards to help offset some flight and hotel costs.
European itineraries are one of my most popular requests, and give me a way to feel connected to European life while I’m in the states.
